Welcome to Riviera Maya

Corporate Retreats in Riviera Maya

Private beachfront haciendas for startups, growing teams, and company gatherings that want space to connect, plan, and celebrate together.

Groups of 15 to 120 guests | Gated Puerto Aventuras | Concierge support | Flexible work-ready spaces

Bring your team together somewhere that feels private, inspiring, and genuinely worth the trip. At Riviera Maya Haciendas, corporate retreats are hosted in fully private beachfront haciendas inside Puerto Aventuras, a gated coastal community in the Riviera Maya.

Whether you are planning a leadership retreat, annual planning session, incentive trip, or a gathering for a remote team, we help create a stay that feels seamless from the first conversation to the final dinner.

With concierge support, chef service available, high-speed WiFi, housekeeping, and flexible spaces for presentations, breakout sessions, and group dinners, this is a setting designed for teams that want more than just rooms.

A better setting for teams that want privacy, flexibility, and real connection

Some company retreats are all logistics. Too many rooms. Too many schedules. Too many shared spaces that make it harder for a group to actually feel together

This is different.

Our haciendas give your company a private place to gather under one roof or across several neighboring properties. You can host morning strategy sessions in an open-air living space, small breakout conversations in the patios, lunch by the pool, and a private dinner steps from the beach.

This is not a one-size-fits-all corporate retreat package. It is a private, customizable experience designed around your team, your schedule, and the way your company wants to gather.

Corporate Retreat Spaces and Team Experiences

A successful retreat requires a balance of productive work environments and memorable shared experiences. Below, you can explore how our dynamic, work-ready spaces support your agenda and compare the types of experiences that may be the best fit for your group.

Work-ready spaces

Not every company retreat needs a traditional boardroom. Many teams want something more flexible, more comfortable, and more conducive to real conversation.

We adapt the spaces based on your retreat goals and group size, using living areas, patios, poolside settings, and dining spaces for meetings, presentations, workshops, and breakout sessions.

Our retreats can support:

A smart fit for remote teams

For startup founders and fast-moving teams, getting everyone in one place matters. When people usually work across cities, time zones, or countries, a retreat is not just about taking a break. It is about alignment.

Hacienda Jaguar in particular tends to resonate with teams looking for a more modern environment, while the full collection gives planners the flexibility to choose the property or combination of properties that best suits the group.

For founders, the appeal is often in the privacy, the atmosphere, and the fact that the experience feels genuinely different from a conventional company trip.

Which experiences work best for your corporate retreat?

The right mix of experiences can help your retreat feel more connected, memorable, and effective. Depending on your group’s goals, some activities may be better suited for team bonding, while others work well for celebration, planning, or simply giving people quality time together outside of meetings.

Experience
Best For
Why It Works Well for Corporate Retreats
Beach team building activities
Team retreats, leadership groups, remote teams, company gatherings
A great option for teams that want to build connection in a more natural and energizing setting. Beach activities help break routine, encourage participation, and create shared moments outside of formal sessions.
Private group dinners
Leadership retreats, incentive trips, annual planning stays, company celebrations
Private dinners give teams dedicated time to connect in a more relaxed atmosphere. They work especially well for welcome nights, closing dinners, milestone celebrations, and relationship-building across departments.
Salsa classes
Incentive trips, team celebrations, social-focused retreats
A fun and low-pressure group activity that helps people interact in a different way. Salsa classes bring energy into the retreat and work well for teams that want something memorable and engaging.
Tasting experiences
Leadership groups, client-facing teams, incentive trips, company gatherings
Tasting experiences create a shared social moment that feels elevated without being overly formal. They are a strong fit for teams that want to add a cultural or culinary experience to the retreat.
Chef-led meal moments
Leadership retreats, company gatherings, planning stays, remote teams
Shared meals often become some of the most valuable moments of the retreat. Chef-led dining experiences help bring the group together while making the stay feel more intentional and well taken care of.
Catamaran and boating experiences
Incentive trips, celebratory retreats, team rewards
Ideal for companies that want to reward the team with a memorable group experience. These activities add a strong destination element to the retreat and create time for people to connect outside of meetings.
Cenote visits
Startup retreats, remote teams, incentive groups, mixed company retreats
Cenote visits offer a distinctly local experience that helps make the retreat feel more unique. They work well for teams that want a shared activity beyond the property itself.
Local excursions
Company groups, leadership teams, remote teams, longer stays
Local outings add variety to the retreat and can help groups experience more of the Riviera Maya together. They are especially useful for teams that want to balance planning sessions with destination-based experiences.
Optional yoga as an add-on
Teams that want a lighter wellness element without making it the focus
Yoga can be included as an optional activity for groups that want a calm start to the day or a lighter shared moment, while keeping the overall retreat centered on team connection, planning, and company goals.
Tailored experiences for remote teams and company groups
Distributed teams, startups, founders retreats, customized company stays
Not every group wants the same rhythm. Tailored experiences allow the retreat to reflect the company’s style, priorities, and team dynamics, creating a more relevant and effective overall experience.

Why groups come back

We’ve come back to RMH Haciendas in Puerto Aventuras for 5 years now for our corporate retreats and each time it’s fantastic… what really makes it is the incredible team from booking, to concierge, to all of the staff.

We brought 16 women and still had more than enough space — every corner of the villa felt intentionally designed to bring people together while still offering plenty of privacy.

It was so wonderful having every meal taken care of for us so we could focus on the content of the retreat.

Planning, Logistics & FAQ

A company retreat only feels easy when the team behind it knows how to make it easy. In this section, you will find our step-by-step planning timeline, details on our customizable support structure, and answers to common logistical questions to help you organize a seamless event.

How to plan your corporate retreat

Start by sending your estimated group size, preferred dates, and what kind of retreat you are planning. This helps the sales team recommend the most suitable hacienda or combination of haciendas.

Once your needs are clear, the team prepares a customized quote based on the property, length of stay, and any services you want to include.

As the planning moves forward, many groups schedule a video call to review the retreat in more detail. In some cases, inspection visits can also be arranged.

After the rental is confirmed, the planning process continues with concierge support to coordinate food and beverage preferences, experiences, and additional services.

During the stay, your group is looked after by the on-property team so the experience feels organized, supported, and enjoyable from start to finish.

When should you book?

Ideally, companies should start planning around three months in advance, especially for larger groups or preferred travel windows. That said, we can also help coordinate retreats on a shorter timeline when availability allows.

Support & Logistics Structure

Not every company wants the same kind of retreat, and that is exactly why our corporate stays are planned in a more flexible way. Rather than forcing every company into a fixed package, we build the retreat around what makes sense for the group.

This gives companies more control over the final structure of the retreat and makes it easier to prioritize what matters most, whether that is budget clarity, convenience, team experiences, or a stronger food and beverage program.

Your Stay

Accommodation is priced by night, based on the hacienda(s) selected.

Food Planning

Priced per person, per day, depending on the meal structure your group prefers.

Beverages

Alcohol and beverage plans can also be included if desired.

Additional Services

Transport, activities, and AV quoted separately via trusted providers.

We can help coordinate rentals for presentation and event equipment such as screens, projectors, microphones, sound, and flipcharts through local providers.

Three months ahead is ideal, but shorter planning windows may also be possible depending on availability.

For many companies, the main difference is how the team feels once everyone arrives. In a private hacienda, your group stays together, meets together, dines together, and experiences the retreat in a more connected way. It creates more privacy, more flexibility, and a stronger sense of shared time.
