We had such a lovely stay at Villa Alma Rosa!! I organized this trip for my sister’s 50th bday with friends and it could not have gone better. Laura planned everything for us (excursions etc) and had the house fully stocked with food and drink+ Morewhen we arrived. The butler Rodolfo is so nice and spoiled us rotten with drinks and amazing decorations for my sister’s bday. Laura went out of her way to find a delicious gluten free cake. We were really treated like royalty and they were so friendly. The housekeepers are barely visible but the house is pristine at all times thanks to them. The chef was really one of the highlights. Hector is like a James Beard chef and makes simple and DELICIOUS authentic meals but also cooks to order. It was so incredible. Also the property is even nicer than the pictures describe. Plenty of space, beautiful pool/patio, walk onto the beach, and you can walk 5 min to get to turtle snorkeling area. Will definitely be back this was amazing.

Alma Rosa was one of the best homes I’ve been to while on vacation. They have everything you would need and the staff is outstanding. Chef Hector was outstanding in all the meals he made! There was always more than enough food for us. And it was+ Moredelicious!!! Rodolfo was amazing in all that he did. The drinks were outstanding and the service was incredible. He was always there if we needed anything. The housekeeping and grounds/ pool keepers did an excellent job as well. Laura also did an incredible job organizing our excursions and drivers everywhere. I highly recommend Alma Rosa!

We came to Villa Alma Rosa to celebrate a 30th birthday and it was the most incredible trip from time of booking until we left the house. Laurie- the concierge- helped set everything up- from transport to activities, and it all went flawlessly. The+ Moreconcierge services were very responsive through-out the whole trip. The house is BEAUTIFUL, so clean. The staff on-site is amazing. Rudolfo took such great care of us the whole time. The chef is truly special, every meal we ate was incredible. This was a 10/10 experience and we would definitely come back.

If I could 6/5 ⭐️ stars ⭐️ I would. Everything about our experience was exceptional, every detail over-delivered. Laurie is an exceptional host. I’m type A and love to plan, in hindsight I wish I would have simply put all of the planning+ Morein her hands (do yourself a favor-just give her your goals and let her handle everything else). Our host/on-site serive with Rudolf, Chef Hector, and driver David were beyond accommodating, friendly and kind. All 12 of us plan on visiting again as soon as possible!

You must stay here! I can't say enough positive things. Laurie was the absolute best planner and organized everything perfectly. The house was SO clean and even bigger in person! The pool and access to the beach were incredible. The staff SO kind,+ Morefriendly, and helpful. The butler (and bartender!) Radolfo was the BEST and the chef Hector was incredible - best food every day!! Honestly our food at home was better than the restaurants we went to. We were a group of 11 girls and had the time of our lives here. The home is even more beautiful in person - each room is huge, spacious and the beds are beyond comfortable. The bathrooms are large so nobody feels like they are on top of each other -+ Morewhich I was initially concerned about with 11 girls getting ready! Laurie helped plan everything to a tee. We absolutely loved the yoga instructor who came one morning. It was a great class and perfect way to start our day. Hector, Rodolfo and Max (chefs/butler) absolutely made the house so. Hector and Max are incredible chefs and Rodolfo was there for every little need. We loved them! Plan for generous tips for them because you will want to treat them! This place has thought of every little touch – I mean, can you beat fresh coconuts handed to you in the morning? We loved waking up to ocean views, sunshine and warm breezes every morning. I wish I could move to this place.

This place is so beautiful!! Pictures do not do it justice. The Staff is amazing. It's a mother's dream vacation. No cleaning, no shopping, and no cooking. We had twelve people in our group and 5 of our grown children ranging 22 yrs of age to 32 yrs+ Moreof age said best vacation ever. Laurie the concierge did a phenomenal job of helping organize everything from yoga , salsa lessons, airport rides and mariachis. The house and the rooms were very spacious beautifully decorated. Hector, Max and Bali made fabulous breakfast lunch and dinners everyday and unlimited margaritas, palomas, and Pina coladas. The beach access right in front of house a 15 min walk to shops and diving. You can snorkel right off the beach and it was so awesome. Tulume 15 min drive and Cenotes. I highly recommend this place it was hard to leave. Can't wait to go back

Laurie communicated with me prior to our trip about any transportation needs we may have, our daily menu choices, and even helped me plan a boat day for my family seamlessly! The staff was+ Moreawesome and our meals were delicious! Karla, Max and Chef Hector were very kind and attentive and of course the house itself was beautiful and spacious. “What a glorious place! I’m always afraid when I rent something that the pictures don’t truly represent the house and it’s going to be awful. This was the opposite! The house and the pool are even better in person. Beautiful, large bathrooms+ Moreand bedrooms. The pool was sparkling and warm even in March. But the most outstanding part of this rental is the amazing staff!! Hector is a chef not a cook! Every single meal was outstanding and the presentation was gorgeous. Carla and Fernanda attended to our every need/want. Carla makes the best margarita I’ve ever had! Laurie was so helpful before and during our time to get everything lined up - our arrival (which due to weather was in the middle of the night) and our excursions. Just an amazing experience!! Girls Getaway Perfection This place is amazing! We were 8 busy women away for a rare girls weekend, and wow, did this place deliver - super attentive staff, excellent food, snacks, drinks, and very clean. Honestly, the best meals we had our entire+ Moretrip were cooked in-house by the incredible chef, Hector (fresh caught fish, tres leches cake, quesadillas, you name it!). Karla was so sweet and seemed to have a sixth sense for knowing when we might want a coffee or water or a margarita or a snack. (If you are used to cooking for your family, is there anything more luxurious than having food, drinks and clean up taken care of? Amazing!) The house is stunning in person and we hardly wanted to leave the pool. The rooms are large, the ocean is right in front, and the hot pink colour is a photographer’s dream. ALMA ROSA IS A BEAUTIFUL VILLA I have stayed in similar villas all over the Caribbean. The Chef, butler, and staff were the best we have ever had. Period. The only improvements to the home would be: Air Conditioning in the main living area, wifi+ Morewas very marginal at best, and better descriptions of the rooms on the website prior to arriving. The pool is amazing and was somehow very cool when the outside temps were 90 + degrees. But what really makes this villa is the staff and the attention from the on-site concierge. The layout of the home is perfect for 4 couples. Potentially kids as well since a day bed is provided in each room. I thought that was smart. This was a great villa in terms of value as well. It was the least expensive we have done in the last 4 trips and the value was superb.

THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB! I'm writing this review covering many aspects of Villa Alma Rosa. This place is the bomb! On site concierge, chef, butler, maid, and handyman. House, pool, then beach. Location is amazing. 7 days of pure bliss and easy+ Moreliving. The concierge Mimi Lund is completely dialed in. She coordinated a private boat trip on a 42 foot Sea Ray, a fantastic birthday sunset surprise for my daughter at the house with native Fire Dancing, a magnificent cake for her party, a monkey tour at a preserve just to name a few. It is so nice to come and NEVER worry about anything. Mimi stays in touch via text and comes to the house daily to check on you. Let's move to the chef. His name is Miguel and he is UNREAL. Breakfast and Dinner daily. How do you serve breakfast every day and it be different? Ask Miguel. 7 straight dinners and no duplicates... as Miguel. All we told him was we want seafood and local flavor. We are from Dallas so we wanted no steak. We had lobster night, fish, and you HAVE to ask him for the oyster shooters. He makes them singular and watching the love and care he uses was a blast to watch. We have rented similar homes in Belize and Costa Rica and Positano, but this staff was the best. The butler is Sergio and he makes sure you drink is never low and makes the greatest margarita, daiquiri, and Chi Chi (crazy coconut drink) on earth! Trust me, and trust Mimi Lund. I wish I could give Mimi and this staff 10 STARS !

PERFECTION I have nothing but positive reviews about Alma Rosa. It was a short 4 night stay but felt like we had a much longer stay. We were treated so well from the moment we arrived. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. The+ Morestaff was kind and quite, but engaging. The house and the property was super clean and well maintained. We had three teenagers with us and they all had plenty of space and activities to keep themselves happy and engaged. All the while, the adults were able to have a super relaxing stay. STUNNING & ENCHANTING !!! No words can describe this property, you need to experience the bliss. The concierge Mimi is super sweet and helpful. She was available on call/whatsapp 24/7 for anything and everything we needed to be comfortable. The+ Morehouse help and staff were very sweet and kept the villa in immaculate condition. The rooms/kitchen/balcony/bathroom/toilet/linen/sofa/amenities etc everything was spot on and high quality. The swimming pool is a delight with the hammock !!! The food cooked by our chef was the best mexican food we've had. They were cooperative and helpful in making great food to suit all our taste buds. Highly recommend the property, but ensure that you have a car to move around as there are no cabs/transport available around the villa. Must visit Tulum Ruins and the beach. A MAGICAL WEEK We have travelled a lot over the years with our family to different countries and stayed in everything from villas to B&B's and lodges but nothing as magical and relaxing as the Villa Alma Rosa. It was both very spacious and+ Morebeautiful but also comfortable and it included an incredibly hospitable staff. Our family of six spent a week there vacationing together and celebrating our youngest daughter's wedding. The villa had enough space for our grown up family (ages 29-61) to once again travel together like we used to fifteen to twenty years ago. It is designed in a way so that you felt you had space and privacy both inside and outside. However, there were also comfortable areas to hang out together. We spent most of of our time outside and because of the breeze we didn't need to put on the air conditioners to sleep at night. Viewing the sunrise and sunsets were marvelous on the rooftop deck every day! It was great waking for sunrise with some coffee and then recreating for 2-3 hours either walking on the beach, running, kayaking and/or snorkeling. Our family enjoyed gathering after at the outside table to an amazing breakfast prepared and served by Gabbi and Abel. The food and physical space was definitely a highlight of the vacation but the staff at the villa was even more so. Between the concierge Lara, who greeted us upon our arrival and managed our every need, Carlos taking care of the house and grounds, Gabbi and Abel's countless hours on food preparation and thoughtful personal touches, and the gals that kept the house tidy for us, the staff and their sincere kindness, smiles and warmth is what made this stay the best we have ever experienced! Oh, and even though we never met Marina she spent much time arranging the business details and answering the many questions I had planning the rental. Her response was always immediate, helpful and friendly. I hope to return to the Villa Alma Rosa within the next couple of years for another relaxing vacation. It was definitely more magical than I had imagined and the photos can't even begin to portray the feeling you get when you are staying there.

Most rentals have one or two nice rooms, where you have to draw straws to figure out which couple gets the Master Suite.+ MoreEvery bedroom had their own bathroom & private balcony. The pool & grounds were beautiful and private. The staff were exceptional. Please don't wasted your time cooking any meals-have Gabi (the chef) do everything for you. We never had to go to the grocery store, everything was provided for us. This was a true vacation!! We will be planning our next visit to Alma Rosa soon!!

Dream Come True Vacation, Villa And Staff -- Thank You! Our family spent the last week of July 2015 at Villa Alma Rosa, and had a vacation of a lifetime there with a family of 8, from 4 to 68 years old. We hope to be back! The villa, staff and+ Morelocation were unbeatable, and together made our vacation relaxing like no other -- with a focus on family time. The villa is beautiful, and feels like a real home, with a lot of thought and love going into design and details of both the outdoor and indoor areas. We loved the colorful indoor décor. The four bedrooms are all huge, beautiful and unique, with wonderful ocean views and balconies. Wifi was reliable. The pool is lovely, with large areas at different depths, good for all. The outdoor area is full of trees and greenery, giving a relaxing atmosphere and privacy. There is a ton of outdoor seating, where we ate all our meals, including two charming swings under a tree. Key to us, there are beautiful ocean views from the outdoor yard area (and villa!), and the (very few) passers-by cannot see inside the yard -- great privacy. The house and outdoor area were even better in real life than on the photos. Magical! We've rented other villas and traveled widely and never experienced such kindness, warmth and competence from staff. Chef Gaby and assistant Abel cooked three delicious meals a day, at any time we wanted (even odd hours), doing all the groceries, cooking and cleaning. We never lifted a finger! We initially wanted to try different restaurants but after tasting Gaby's food and experiencing the villa we cancelled all our bookings. Gaby was a charm to work with, happy to accommodate any requests, make a special dish for a kid, pick up anything we wanted at the store, etc. Fresh-pressed fruit juices at every meal, soups, mains, desserts -- they all tasted so good, authentic and fresh. For birthdays, Gaby and Abel put up balloons, banners, pinatas, and made personalized cakes. They thought of everything. Concierge Laura was very responsive, answering any phone/email/text messages within 15 minutes at any time of day/night, having the answer to everything. Jaffet and Pilar kept the house spotless every day, and Carlos cared for the yard and pool. The staff was always right there when needed, but never in our way -- which was perfect. Last but not least the villa's location was ideal for us. It’s on a beautiful and uncrowded section of the beach, with sunrises and sunsets to match. Most exciting to us, we saw a few turtles walk up to the beach to nest just after 9PM ... once directly in front of the house! We went on two evening walks and saw turtles both evenings. The beach is rocky in front of the house and not ideal for swimming, but we knew that ahead and had plenty of fun in the shallow waters (with water shoes), on kayaks, with kites, in the pool, and exploring the area. The villa is 50min from Sian Ka'an National Reserve, whose snorkeling, winding lagoon, and wilderness we loved; an hour from the lovely Coba ruins in the middle of the jungle; 20min from Tulum and its ruins; 25min from Playa Del Carmen; and 5min from Yal Ku lagoon. We visited all of them. We rented two cars, and saw a lot without having to go far, feeling away from crowds. All in all, we spent most of our time at the villa – our home and oasis. Thank you to the whole team for the trip of a lifetime!

A Dream Vacation We returned from Villa Alma Rosa last night and are missing it already! It was a magical time for our extended family of seven adults and three kids. We were in Akumal to celebrate our father's 70th birthday. Most of our time was+ Morespent at this beautiful and well-cared for home. We enjoyed the home with its beautiful Mexican handicrafts and artwork, beautiful sunrise and sunset views, the pool, the hammocks, and, of course, the beach. Three nights we had dinner at home, lovingly cooked by the chef, who made separate meals for the kids. The last night we were there we celebrated our father's birthday, and the staff gifted him champagne and books about mexico and baked a delicious tres leche cake! Because of their service, we were all able to relax, even with young children. Some of us played golf at nearby courses and went deep sea fishing. We tried some nearby restaurants, including the Jashita Hotel, per concierge Mimi's suggestion, and a hole in the wall restaurant called La Coquetta in Tulum. Both were delicious and special in their different ways. We have many favorite memories, but one we will remember forever is watching one hundred baby turtles leave their nest and go into the ocean right in front of home. We were lucky enough to see this happen twice! This is a very special home, and we cannot wait to return!

“This Experience Was Amazing” Once in a lifetime, a vacation happens where everything goes the way you hope and this was it!! The house was amazing but more than that, the staff involved in the experience went above and beyond our hopes and+ Moreexpectations in making this family trip the best ever. Carlos and Jafet, the kind, loving couple that cooked for us and cleaned up after us were complete perfection. They have the most beautiful smiles and respect space and privacy and really just made sure that we had whatever we needed, without us asking. And the food they prepared was so authentic and delicious and was made with love and you could taste it. Lucy, the concierge, had the best attitude in helping us secure tours and massages and she gave us the BEST advice about places to go and how to experience the most we could from the area. We loved that she would answer emails within 1 hour, that she came over in the morning casually and checked in, that she did every thing she could to make sure we were happy- it was an incredible experience- being a family of 5, ages 8 to 49, that travels as much as possible, this, hands down, was our most effortless, most relaxing family vacation ever. Thanks to Lucy, Carlos and Jafet and to the owners as well- they have offered an amazing experience for anyone that wants to share it-
