The Most Beautiful Wedding Venue!!! Our wedding planner recommended this venue and it did not disappoint! Hacienda del Mar is where we had our wedding celebration and all our guests stayed on-site. Pictures do not do this location justice--it+ Moretruly looks like something straight out of a movie. The views are beautiful, the rooms were impeccable, and the staff is the most attentive and hospitable staff I have ever encountered! I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding venue or better accommodations for our guests. If you are looking at booking this location, 10/10 would recommend. Isabel F. , married on 04/22/2023

We had a wonderful stay!!! The house, staff, service was impeccable!! We also really enjoyed our yoga class, catamaran outing with the delicious food and our massages. The staff went above and beyond to make my friend Claudia's birthday special. We+ Morehad a group of 10 women and we all agreed the house, location, food, service was was wonderful. We had the most wonderful week at Hacienda Del Mar from the welcome drink, delicious meals, to Laurie and everyone trying to help us figure our departure paperwork. Which much as I expected we didn't even need once we got to the airport. They were so kind to try to help us though!! Thank you again to everyone! Sarah

The best stay, yet again at Riveria Maya Haciendas! The most relaxing place you could ever stay.. even with 7 kiddos under 8! It truly is paradise - the location, the house, the area but what truly makes it special is the staff! From the chefs+ More(Augustine, Graciella and team) to the butlers (Jorge and Jorge) to Laurie, the concierge.. nothing was too much hassle. We ate the best food, drank delicious cocktails, swam, paddle boarded, surfed, kayaked and danced with Mariachis to our hearts content. Oh and booked for next year!

"How do I say enough? The property is beautiful and EVERYTHING you could ever want - and I'm fairly hard to please when it comes to accommodations. But... the true gem of this property is the staff. Everyone from Mimi (the concierge) to the+ Moredishwashers, our group has made friends for life. They are just beautiful people. We had a group of 40 adults and the butlers knew my name and what I liked to drink (Diet Coke, Julie?) You get a level of service and friendship that you just wouldn't get at a large resort. Stunning Property And A Perfect Stay Made Possible By Amazing Concierge Mimi Lund! My company booked this property for our annual off site and it was simply perfect. As you can see from the photos, the views and beach are spectacular, but we also+ Morehad plenty of space and were able to combine work with a lot of fun, all in a private setting. The staff was so pleasant and food absolutely delicious with plenty of variety for everyone. It worked out really well for us to enjoy meals in a home style setting which gave us the ability to spend quality time rather than going out to restaurants all the time. The only bad thing was that I left something valuable and very sentimental to me in my room. I contacted Mimi and she could not have been more helpful returning it to me, which was not easy! Things in Mexico take a little extra work to get done, organize, etc and she went WAY above and beyond making sure that that it could get returned to me. I am so grateful to her for that and everything else she did to make our stay absolutely wonderful. I would love to return with my extended family to this beautiful hacienda some time. Amazing Property With Amazing Staff And Service! I don’t have words to describe how magical Hacienda Del Mar is. The house is stunning with breathtaking views. The staff is so nice and attentive to all your needs. Trusty first class service. My+ Morehusband and I (yes they are LGBTQ+ friendly) recently celebrated our marriage at Hacienda Del Mar with 30 of our closest friends and family. Every single guest was impressed by the level of service the staff provided and everyone is still talking about how much fun they all had. A huge shoutout to the party planner, chef and beverage manager for making the wedding planning easy and stress free. “Hacienda Del Mar is a beautiful villa, this was my second visit, the first was 11 years ago. I remembered Gina being the concierge at the time and I loved her. So when I decide to host my 50th, I knew this wonderful home would be perfect. The+ Morepictures don't do this home justice, but without Mimi and the staff, it's just another pretty property. Upon arrival, Mimi, our concierge was not only knowledgeable but she was warm and gracious. She handled every request expediently. You felt the warmth in her professionalism and it was greatly appreciated! I can't say enough about this amazing team of individuals that work together so seamlessly, but manage not to be in the way. They become such an extension of your stay, that you don't notice tables have been set for meals, cocktails have been poured and fresh towel have replaced the soggy ones you used just a couple of hours earlier. Chef Esme's cuisine was delicious! We decided on all three meals, the selections were awesome and nothing was duplicated. Big Cesa & Lil Cesa were our mixologist and boy do they know how to make a cocktail! There were 27 of us and they knew many of us by name, no small fete...what gems! Did I mention the massage therapist they contract were exceptional. I could go on, but you need to work on booking your next get away in PARADISE! Mimi, it won't take me another 11 years to get back, I promise! This is customer service done right!

We just spent a long weekend at Hacienda Del Mar celebrating my husband's 50th birthday with a large group of friends. While we expected it to be a fabulous experience hanging out in a tropical paradise with our best friends, we never imagined just+ Morehow incredible the experience would be. The house is gorgeous... all open air and beautifully appointed. But, the staff made this an amazing, unforgettable experience. Mimi, our concierge was on top of every detail and made sure we wanted for nothing. The chefs and bartenders/butlers blew our minds... Esme, Augustino, Cesa and Cesa.... we expected the food and drink to be good, but this was 5-star restaurant quality with every bite and every sip. Cesa is a true mixologist creating innovative, delicious cocktails and Esme is a wizard in the kitchen serving up the best mexican food we have ever tasted. Not to mention we had 2 vegans, and 3 pescatarians in our group. EVERYONE raved about the food meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike. The housekeeping, pool crew and groundskeepers were also top notch. The individual rooms were spotless and pristine, and the surrounding property perfectly manicured. While we could have had a wonderful experience anywhere, I believe that we had BEST experience because of the staff. They genuinely seemed happy to make us happy. That is a rarity in today's day and age. This experience was like no other... it was truly the best vacation ever!

MAGICAL PLACE WITH THE BEST STAFF IN THE WORLD We had our company retreat with over 42 people attending all 3 villas. We had the most amazing experience ever! Everything from how the bookings were handled, the owners of the property being very+ Moreflexible, to Mimi (Concierge) and Pino (F&B) manager to every single interaction was top notch. I've stayed at high end hotels before but this was one level above that! The food was sooooooooooooooo good. The rooms were huge and had bathrooms in them. MOST AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL WEDDING VENUE Wow, wow, wow. I'm not even sure where to begin. My husband and I hosted our wedding a Hacienda Del Mar and Hacienda Corazon, where we stayed for 3 nights with 50 of our family and friends. We could not+ Morehave dreamed up a more perfect venue. All of our guests were blown away with the beautiful rooms and buildings, stunning location, delicious food and UNBELIEVABLE service. Everyone kept saying it was the best wedding and one of the most amazing places they'd ever been. From the first email, working with Marina and Mimi made the planning process easy. Maria was our concierge for our stay and she was extremely helpful, organized and so, so kind. The rest of the staff, especially Luigi and Cesar, were all-stars. They went above and beyond - I have never had such wonderful service. We went to a local 5-star resort by ourselves for a few days after the wedding and it just didn't compare. Direct beach access and nice villa. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The+ Morefood was tremendous (I am a peculiar type regarding food). The manager, Mimi, was wonderfil, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the amenities within the complex and the activities outside of the complex. We stayed for a week. The team led by Concierge Mimi, Chef Esme & Cesar our bartender could not have been more accommodating, the food more delicious or+ Morethe drinks more creative. They knew what we wanted before we did!! We loved every minute. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 7 kids under 5. Don’t think we can wait a full year to go back!!

Absolutely Amazing My company's annual retreat was held at the Hacienda Estates and it was incredible. The staff was so kind and patient with us. We brought of a group of 34 very needy people and they handled us perfectly. I'd like to say a special+ Morethank you to Mimi, Cesar, Theresa, Jorge, and Pino. Thank you for helping us create an amazing experience for our team! The houses themselves were also amazing. The photos don't do it justice. They are so much larger than they appear in pictures and so comfortable and inviting. I love that the houses are separated, but also very connected with multiple paths between each house. We wanted the team to stay together, but also have the space to have their own personal time and the haciendas were perfect for that. GREAT EXPERIENCE! We stayed here for a family and friends summer vacations. This was our second time in Mexico and the 1st time we stayed at a resort. This was such a unique experience because the attention and the service was outstanding. Our chef+ MoreEsmeralda cooked the best food, very delicious and flavorful. The concierge Jorge and Cesar were very nice and attentive always making sure we stayed hydrated. LOL! I also liked that everything was within a short drive inside the Puerto Aventuras Community, you could find anything from food and entertainment to pharmacy. I would definitely will be returning to this property. Thanks to Mimi for always making sure we were good and had no complaints. I also loved that the beach and the pool were inside the property they kids had a great time and we didn't have to worry since they were always within sight.

UNFORGETTABLE CORPORATE RETREAT The Hacienda Del Mar and its staff provided me and 23 of my colleagues with an amazing corporate retreat experience. The staff were exceptional. They were over-the-top accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and+ Morefriendly. They really made the experience outstanding. Mimi was gracious, helpful, super quick to respond and she ensured that everything was perfectly organized. Caesar, and Jorge provided stellar, personal service - they also make the best margaritas ? Esme, Pino and Austin cooked us incredible meals, and even did a cooking lesson to show us how to make some of their delicious carnitas, tres de leche cake, empanadas and salsas. The building and grounds are immaculately maintained and beautiful. The property is even better than the pictures. We loved the pool and the game room, we enjoyed lounging, paddle boarding, kayaking and private yoga classes. The suites were spotlessly cleaned every day and super comfortable. While you feel you're in a private paradise, you are just short walk away from shops, restaurants, and activities. This is a beautiful property, but it really is the people that make it special. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME This was my firstr trip to Mexico. It was for my daughters wedding. In all we had about 44 people. 2 villas were reserved. From the time we arrived we were treated so graciously. The villa was stunning. The grounds and rooms are+ Morebeautiful, clean and filled with the culture of Mexico. Above all the staff was excellent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. We could order special meals if desired. Our concierge Mimi went above and beyond the entire time. She put together a boat excursion at the last minute! We had a wonderful time at sea. PARADISE FOUND We stayed here for a week to celebrate mom’s 75th birthday. We were a group of 11 people ranging in age from 10-75. The house is gorgeous, well laid out and has an awesome pool. The best part of the house is the staff. Every need+ Moreis met, good is delicious and made to suit everyone’s taste. They were wonderful about coordinating trips, helping arrange things and being flexible with all our needs. The items were prestocked as needed. Every meal was better than the next and drinks by the pool were perfect. Only drawback-the house is on the beach but cannot be entered from the area. It is very rocky and slippery even with shoes on. We did venture out a couple of times but it was a little stressful. Look forward to going back some day! Amazing vacation for all of us!

REALLY SPECIAL, DON'T HESITATE Words cannot start to describe how special of a time we had here. We rented out all three properties (Magica, Del Mar, Corazon) for our wedding. We had all our family and friends stay across the three properties. Even+ Morethough we read the reviews and spoke to some folks that had stayed here, it really was more special and better than what we were expecting (and even better than the photos). The photos are gorgeous, but they don't capture the flow and the grandness of the architecture of the place. From the moment we walked on the property, we were amazed at how beautiful and truly unique it was. We came here to get married, and both of our families stayed in this house. It was the perfect setting for what we envisioned - a laid back environment, in a beautiful setting. The pool was wonderful, and the beach was great! They have been very successful with the beach restoration efforts - the water is calm right out front and very clear. There was hardly any seaweed when we were there. The guests loved that they could just grab a kayak or paddleboard and go out. We had a yoga and fitness instructor come a few of the days (the staff can help organize), and that was great for everyone too. All the houses is big enough that you have all the privacy you want if you seek it out, but it is cozy enough that it fosters great connections with people (just like we wanted for our family and friends). Lastly, we have to give a big mention to the staff. They. are. incredible. So kind, so helpful, and so good hearted. All of the guests commented on it as well. It is so good it is noticeable. We felt lucky to have found a place like this, and were truly sad to leave, and not because it is paradise, but because of the "soul" that the place seems to have. Hard to explain, but you will get it if you go ;) We are optimistic that all the discussion about coming back for our anniversaries will become a reality!! Seriously, you won't be disappointed!

SECOND TRIP TO THIS HOUSE This is our second trip to this house and once again, it was an amazing experience. The kitchen staff, food, Butler (Cesar) were all so amazing! Wedding @ Hacienda Del Mar We stayed @ Hacienda del Mar with our friends a family for our wedding on Nov 4th 2017. We took 5 days with the early and later days being for 7-10 rooms and the middle 3 days we took 14 of the 15 rooms. We viewed 4+ Morehouses and 3 all-inclusive's and can say with extreme confidence we made the right choice for the wedding itself and the whole stay. - The staff were all fantastic, especially the Chef's and the butlers Cesar and Jorge. Mimi is a great and fun host too. - The Hacienda makes a perfect backdrop for a wedding, they had most of what you need for an upscale and enjoyable trip, like sound system, TV's, pool, game room for the kids and amazing view - The 3 ocean front rooms were stunning, quite large and with great views. Perhaps a slight negative was the other 12 rooms were a significant step down being fairly small, dimly lit and were quite musty. - The only other slight negative was the rigidity on miscellaneous fees - These minor negatives did not take away from what was a great trip for all our guests and I would recommend the Hacienda to any & all

EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY Attended a large family wedding at Hacienda Del Mar with guests staying in this hacienda as well as Hacienda Corazon next to it. Both absolutely amazing but I will review Del Mar as it was the hacienda we stayed in. Really+ Morecannot say enough great things about this property and staff. The building and grounds are immaculately maintained and beautiful with a perfect mixture of open-air spaces and AC controlled spaces. It had the most endearing Mexican design touches everywhere you looked - exactly what you would hope an upscale hacienda in Mexico would be. Right on the beach, which is a nice walking beach, with a fantastic view of the water from the pool, the open-air sitting and eating area and 2nd floor suites. The suites were spotlessly cleaned every day, well maintained, spacious, and uniquely decorated. AC worked perfectly and plenty of hot water in our ocean view Arena Suite. Wifi worked great in room and on property. Game room with pool table and ping pong. Kayaks and SUPs readily available for ocean fun. While you feel you're in a private paradise at the haciendas, you are just short walk away from shops, restaurants, and activities. Also a walk (facing the ocean) to the left "bend" in the bay by the Omni will take you to some great snorkeling. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL and are over-the-top accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They really made the experience outstanding. Mimi was gracious, helpful, super quick to respond, interesting to talk to, and present but not intrusive to our large group. What a gem for these properties. Caesar, Jorge, and Carlos provided stellar, personal service and knew what your preferences were after the first hour. These gentlemen definitely made our time there 5-Star. (BTW - their cocktail skills are on-point and they'll make you anything you want.) The chefs and their staff served us meal after meal of outstanding food. Creative, authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Just wonderful. Their service staff was fantastic as well. Huge thanks and appreciation to all of you who are clearly passionate about what you do and the experience you bring to your guests. Simply outstanding and it was a joy to get spend our time with you. Side note: Please do be sure to tip the staff generously - none more deserving. Bottom line is that every single person we encountered at this property was warm and friendly, and worked hard to meet any need to make it a paradise of fun and/or relaxation. This is a beautiful property, but it really is the people that make it special. We would love to come back and would highly recommend.

Great Time BUT Was Eaten Up By Bed Bugs And Mosquitos We recently stayed at hacienda for my friends bachelorette party. The hacienda itself is great and the buttlers are amazing!! They were so pleasant to have around. The food served was all to die+ Morefor! We went in September so were expecting some rains and to our delight it only rained for a few minutes on one day which made for perfect pool days. The ocean itself is not all that great. The sand is covered in sea weed and the oceanfront is mainly algae covered rocks. Definitely not a deal breaker, just don't go expecting a nice sandy beach. ... Now to the ugly.. The mosquitoes here are aggressive! Since this isn't a resort the amount of fumigation is minimal and the mosquitoes are free to do their damage. This I can live with, I have been to Cancun before and have endured mosquitos. BUT what I have never experienced in my life was sleeping in a bed with bed bugs. I shared a room with my friend and we would wake up with so many mysterious new bites! We did mention this to the onsite manager, and she did ask to fumigate the room the first night but the bites didn't stop. My friend's back was literally covered with bites the day we left and my whole body was covered as well. Out of the 7 girls only her and I were covered in bites!! I went to the dermatologist the next day back in LA and he confirmed that the bites were mainly bed bugs as opposed to mosquitoes. I am so disgusted and literally praying that I didn't bring any back home with me. This is a beautiful hacienda but much more precaution needs to take place! I would never plan another trip here.

UNFORGETTABLE VACATION - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED The Hacienda Del Mar and its staff provided me and my family an amazing family vacation. From the time we got off the shuttle till the time we had to, unfortunately, get back on the shuttle to go home,+ MoreMimi, Jorge, Caesar, Esme and Delphi spoiled us with outstanding service and incredible food. Mimi was there to help us with just about anything. From activity and restaurant suggestions to helping hunt down some items that one of us forgot to pack. Esme and Delphi cooked us up some spectacular meals, and even did a cooking lesson to show us how to make some of her incredible salsas. Jorge and Caesar were always mixing up smoothies for the kids and what ever drinks the adults desired (they did a great job with them). The property itself was amazing. The kids loved the pool and the game room, while the adults enjoyed lounging, paddle boarding, kayaking and the incredible snorkeling that was right off the beach in front of the house. The best areas for snorkeling were in the cove off to the right and down to the left in front of the Omni. Water shoes are definitely recommended. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained. We broke up a few of the days by walking to downtown Puerto Aventuras, which was a short walk down the beach and through the Omni. While there, the kids liked watching the seals and dolphins at Dolphin Discovery, and we all enjoyed the gelato at Jessie's (Highly Recommended). We only had a few issues with the hacienda. First, although the flooring was beautiful, it was extremely slippery when wet. Thanks to Mimi for arranging for mats to be brought in to prevent any more accidents. Hopefully, the owner will allow them to keep the mats down or alter the floors to remedy this. Lastly, I wish they would trim the palm trees behind the pool to open up the view of the ocean. Overall, Hacienda Del Mar and its staff gave the 21 of us an unforgettably amazing vacation. We can rave about the staff enough. We are all trying to figure out when we can return.

We were 33 family members from age 1 to 79 and each and every one of us were saddened when our time was over. The staff spoiled us+ Moreand could not have been more accommodating. IT'S LIKE HAVING A BOUTIQUE HOTEL ALL TO YOURSELF!! 34 family members, ages 1 to 79, came together for a family vacation / reunion at Hacienda Del Mar last week. The staff, the setting, and the accommodations were all incredible, and I hope our+ Morefamily has the good fortune to return over the years to come. We all loved having our delicious, fresh meals prepared daily, so we could fully relax and spend our time hanging out at the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean or checking out the nearby cenotes, beaches, and Mayan ruins rather than grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning. The beverage service was also a huge plus as water, fresh juices, cappuccinos, coffee, mojitos, margaritas, and other tropical cocktails were never in short supply. Living In Paradise My family of 12 adults and 22 grandchildren stayed at Hacienda Del Mar last November for a week over Thanksgiving. It was the best family experience we have ever had. The Concierge, Mimi was incredible. She paid attention to our+ Moreevery need, and every detail of our trip. The food was so good, we started looking forward to meals as the main events of the day. I can't thank the staff, the chefs and the conceirge, Mimi Lund, enough for one of the most restful, wonderful weeks we have ever had. The beach and the pool were wonderful. We rented golf carts and bicycles, which was really fun. We will definitely be repeat guests at the beautiful Hacienda Del Mar.

AMAZING HACIENDA TOPPED WITH AN AWESOME STAFF! Hacienda Del Mar was just a beautiful as the pictures show it if not more in person. The Puerto Aventuras community was the perfect community for this birthday getaway traveling with 18 people+ Moreincluding 2 babies and a child. I can't stress enough how safe and friendly this community is. The only way i can think to describe it is like little Mexican Paradise town filled with everything you can think including, restaurants, a marina, a mercado shopping area, liquor and grocery stores, pharmacies, dolphin cove, golf course, just to name a few. Renting the Golf Carts to have at the hacienda was perfect. The golf carts made it easy for everyone to get around and explore Puerto Aventuras. I highly recommend this for groups or family vacations. Mimi is AMAZING there are no words to describe how well she makes everything happen and fills every request with a smile, I truly made a very good friend on this trip. Every wish and idea I had for this trip from Arrival Massages, Entertainment Fire And Drum Show, Tours and Excursions, Mayan Ceremony, Transportation, Dinner Reservations and even a house call Doctor visit for one guests all done quick and with a smile. Jorge and Cesar were great not letting us lift a finger to make a drink. Always there with a helping hand and smile. Without Jorge and Cesar our Wish Lantern ceremony that I planned would have never happened helping us to get all 16 lanterns lit and flying in the air. Chef Esmeralda and her kitchen staff made the most delicious cuisine too...so many favorites to mention but it was like a 5STAR restaurant. Surf and Turf was beyond my expectations for my Birthday Dinner Celebration. Before even arrival Marina made all the reservations and details so easy and Pino helped with all requests for food and beverage even getting a birthday cake ordered that was almost identical to the photo I sent and made the arrangements to have it delivered to the hacienda for the celebration. I just left this week and I already want to plan a trip back. I promise you will not be disappointed at all at Hacienda del Mar. See you all soon! XOXO

Amazing Experience! We recently traveled to Hacienda Del Mar with a group of friends. This is not the first time we have travelled together, however of all the trips we have taken (all inclusive's as well cruises) this one was the best. I have to+ Moreadmit; we are the type of group that could have fun together anywhere, the staff at Hacienda Del Mar really made this trip special. It started with Mimi helping us coordinate everything in advance of our arrival as well as every day throughout our stay, all I can say is Awesome. Mimi will take care of your EVERY need. As if that was not enough, we had Cesar as our bartender / butler. This man was amazing. He worked harder than anyone I have ever seen to assure that each and every one of us was 100% satisfied, 100% of the time. Give that man a stocked bar and the ability to be creative with his drink creation and you will not be disappointed. Just when we did not think it could get any better, there was Esmerelda and the kitchen staff. We elected to have each and every meal at the villa and I have to say they did not disappoint. We had a different meal each and every course every day. Each day the meals got better and better. The entire team was amazing. My wife and I spent five years living in Asia and had the opportunity to visit some beautiful locations within Thailand and Vietnam. I have to say this experience was every bit as amazing as those locations. There is no need to travel half way around the world when you have Hacienda Del Mar a short 3 hour flight away! WOW Wow. We were BLOWN AWAY with our experience at Hacienda Del Mar. We were a 26 person group of friends staying for a week. The house is beautiful, even better than the photos. The food was AMAZING, we had lunch out twice and dinner out twice and+ Moreby far the best meals we had were at the villa. What was probably the most exceptional part of the whole experience was the staff. From Mimi the concierge down to the housekeeping staff, the service was impeccable. We were honestly treated like kings, and everyone was so friendly and good at what they did. Cesar and Carlos were helpful and so much fun to have around. Mimi is AMAZING at what she does, "on top of it" is a serious understatement. She was available via text 24/7, always responded instantly, and delivered on every request we made. Blown Away By The Entire Experience Our 4 night stay here was by far the best service and accommodations that I have experienced. We traveled with a group of 14. The rooms were beautiful and nice and cool. The grounds were fantastic. I have never+ Morehad such delicious food for every meal cooked for us by Esmeralda. Our bartender, Cesar worked tirelessly and ensured that everyone was happy at all times. The variety of drinks that he managed to make was top notch. Our host, Mimi made us feel right at home and arranged massages for the ladies and made special trips to the store for anything we needed. Every person in the entire staff was super friendly and never stopped working to make us comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a slice of paradise and the best service that you could ask for. My only fear is that this vacation set the bar so high that I'm not sure I will be as satisfied anywhere else. I hope to make another trip to Hacienda Del Mar!!! :)

Perfect House For Large Family We stayed at HDM for a family vacation; total of 17 people - 9 adults, 3 teenagers, 4 young children and one baby. The accommodations were perfect for our large group and kids of all ages. They have a crib in one+ Morebedroom, and provided a pack and play as well so we didn't have to travel with one. The bedrooms are very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, as well as private bathrooms in every room. The pool is a generous size and views were beautiful. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided, which were good exercise every morning. The staff was exceptional and trustworthy. Mimi, the concierge, went out of her way to accommodate our every need (and there were many with our group). She made restaurant and excursion recommendations, helped us book a mariachi band, booked 2 great masseuses for the house, and shopped for diapers, hair conditioner (all of the things we forgot!). The chefs (Martin and Esme) were also wonderful, deviating from the menu to make special requests. I was skeptical about lasagna in Mexico, but it was one of the best lasagnas we had ever eaten! Carlos also did a great job keeping our drinks full! Everyone was very friendly with the children as well. The house is well-located, about midway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, so we were able to explore both. We rented golf carts to explore Puerto Aventuras, but the area itself is relatively small. My only con: We did receive a warning about leaving items on the porches/yard at night. We should have taken this more seriously as several pairs of shoes disappeared that were left outside on the beach side. Overall, a great stay for all!

We had a group of about 18 girls and everything about our stay was seamless (and that's hard to say with so many girls). Each girl+ Morewas calling her family at home to say that they had to book the Villa for upcoming trips. The pool is gorgeous, the rooms are extremely comfortable, and the outside dining area was the topping on the cake. Each meal we had was buffet style which made it really easy for everyone. Mimi (the house manager) could not have been more accommodating. Over all i give it a 10!

The room was great. The staff was very friendly and competent, the+ Morefood much better than in most restaurants. Mimi, our local contact, did a fabulous job at making us feel comfortable. We'll Be Back! Stunning courtyard, oceanside pool, beautiful grounds all around. All of the usual luxuries for a property of this type. But the factor that really sets Hacienda del Mar apart is the staff. Mimi handled all of the details with grace+ Moreand efficiency. Very cool to work with. Esme is an incredible talent in the kitchen. The food was off the charts! Carlos kept the drinks flowing with a great sense of humor. We had a great time and we'll be back!!

Making Memories An incredible week at Hacienda del Mar! Spring break for 5 families with 12 teenagers. The villa was perfect for us. The layout of the property was great almost like a hotel with privacy for each couple and a casita for the 8 boys.+ MoreIt was in a gate community and we felt very safe and were comfortable with the kids walking to the Omni Hotel and into the shopping area. The beach was a little rocky for swimming but we loved the kayaks and we paddled around the corner into a gorgeous area of sparking blue water. I can’t say enough about the property itself… but it was the staff that made our trip! Mimi was the best!! She arrived everyday to check in, making sure we had what we needed. She helped us organize outings and made fabulous suggestions for dinner off the property. Carlos, Esma and Martin… I can’t say enough as well. Absolutely The Best Family Vacation EVER. We visited Hacienda del Mar for our family vacation. There are no words strong enough to describe how perfect our vacation was! The location and decor are simply magical. Very comfortable and private; but+ Moresafe and close enough to town for those who like visiting. The staff; mainly Carlos, Esme, Martin, Irlanda and of course Mimi were splendid! Always striving for perfection which they greatly achieve. The food and drinks were always amazing! We were 15 people in our party: 8 children ages 4-14 and 7 adults. Two of our guests had severe food allergies. The staff were very professional; at all times we were reassured that the proper security measures were taken so there was no issues. The kids were free to play and enjoy the amenities and at no time we were made to feel like they were a disturbance; quite the contrary! One night Martin was blowing bubbles to entertain the little ones during dinner, and Carlos was providing the kids with new toys. So sweet! And also the fantastic Mimi, always attentive and available to assist and ensure everything was perfect. The kayaks and boards, beach and pool toys were very appreciated. The view is absolutely stunning! Unfortunately the beach is quite rocky and we did not even attempt to go in the water in front of the villa. However, there is a beautiful beach about 5 minute walk in the sand from the Villa. Once we discovered this, the kids always wanted to go play in that area. We found the satellite TV was quite unreliable. Although we were not there to watch tv, we were happy that we had brought our own Apple TV as an alternative. Thanks to the staff at Hacienda del Mar, our family vacation will never be forgotten!

Fantastic Vacation! Our family (16 members ranging from ages 1 - 89!) had a fantastic week at Hacienda del Mar. The food was fantastic and they were very accommodating to all of our requests. I think we may have eaten our weight in guacamole, which+ Morewas easily the most delicious guacamole on earth! Esme and the rest of the kitchen staff made phenomenal food (loved the lime soup and tortilla soup), and Carlos was friendly and helpful. My two pre-teens especially loved his banana chocolate smoothies, and the adults appreciated him finding some fresh mint for his delicious mojitos. We had more than enough space for our family and loved hanging out around the pool and gathering for meals together. The beach is literally steps from the house, and many of our group enjoyed taking the kayaks out for little adventures. Mimi was great and very organized - when a member of our group needed medical attention she quickly arranged for the doctor to come by, as well as helped when we had an unfortunate flat tire incident. Real life does pop up, even in paradise, and she definitely helped us navigate the system when we were in need. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a completely relaxing vacation - it combines the best parts of an all inclusive resort mixed with the privacy of your own house rental. :)

First of all we would like to send you a big big Thank You to all the staff working at the Hacienda. All of you were so nice, friendly, very professional, efficient, attentive and we already miss you. We miss Carlos's smile and his fantastic+ Morecocktails always ready before asking. We miss Chef Esme's guacamole, the best in the world and all the awesome dishes she prepared for us every days. We miss Mimi's energy and her wonderful personality, the perfect mix between nordic efficiency and mexican hospitality. She is a superstar! Always with her special can-do attitude, she helped us with tour and transportation reservations. Everything was more than perfect in every details. The Hacienda is such an amazing and relaxing place, a peaceful heaven. A superb property where you can really feel the real mexican vibe. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and all the people we met there will remain in our heart forever. We are so glad to have chosen the Hacienda to celebrate our wedding, we couldn't have asked for more. We had a great time, lots of fun and all the guests were so happy. We just can't stop talking about our extraordinary experience. We hope to have the opportunity to come back in the future and see you again! We definitely recommend this property to others, you won't be disappointed.

We Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Golden Anniversary Celebration At Hacienda Del Mar From the moment we arrived we were struck by the beauty of the location and the professionalism and warmth of the concierge and staff. From every aspect of our experience+ Morewe were fully satisfied. The accommodations were perfect for our family-from 3 year olds to us old folks and the gourmet food was delicious and plentiful-prepared and served by an outstanding team. Mimi arranged everything for us, from transports to adventures in the parks. She was constantly at our service and, along with the entire staff, accommodated our every request. The pool was spacious and inviting and the view was spectacular. Our proximity to Puerto Aventuras gave easy access to activities, shopping and restaurants. We could not have been more pleased with our total experience at Hacienda del Mar and hope we can return.

We recently booked the villa for a small company retreat for twelve people and had a fantastic, relaxing experience. The villa is right on the beach, is beautifully decorated and conveniently designed. The patio and pool area ended up being our main+ Moreplace for visiting, working and dining. All of the suites were well enough away from this activity should someone want solitude or nap. The main dining area was very accommodating and still intimate for conversation. Beautifully appointed rooms, most with their own dedicated full bath. The service was amazing. We had two personal chefs, Esmeralda and Alonso, a service person, Carlos and a concierge, Mimi. The food was great! We ate so well at each meal with snacks in between. They accommodated our liquor and beer requests with no problem. Mimi helped organize a few of us to visit the Tulum ruins and one of the local cenotes. Having stayed here, I will rethink any consideration of a group trip to any resort, this experience has been that much more personal and engaging. Highly recommend for destination wedding families, friend get-togethers or company retreats.

I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda del Mar! We got married there last weekend and everything - welcome party, wedding, reception - was held on site. It was the perfect venue - from the beautiful and unique rooms+ Morerooms to the shared spaces to the amazingly manicured grounds including beachfront property and a pool! And the staff - they are truly incredible! The chefs, the bartenders, the concierge, the wedding coordinator and the reservationist were very friendly, accommodating and professional from start to finish; and they helped us execute a wonderful and beautiful event enjoyed by all 60 attendees! We couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding weekend and are eternally grateful to have had this experience! Each and every detail of our experience has created a new standard for our future vacations - the bar has been set very high! We can't wait to visit the Riviera Maya Haciendas again in the future! BIG thanks to everyone there - it was the BEST!
